Genuine U.S. Military Wet Weather Poncho

Prepare for unpredictable weather with the ultimate multi-purpose survival tool. This authentic U.S. Military Wet Weather Poncho (NSN: 8405-01-100-0976) in classic Woodland Camouflage is an essential piece of gear for multi-day backpacking trips, camping, and tactical loadouts. Proudly Made in the USA, it offers rugged, military-grade protection from the elements.

Key Features:

  • Genuine Military Surplus: Authentic U.S. government issue, built to stringent military specifications from durable, waterproof polyurethane-coated rip-stop nylon.
  • Multi-Purpose Utility: Generously sized (approximately 89" x 61") to easily cover you and your pack. It features heavy-duty metal corner grommets, allowing it to easily double as a ground tarp, sleeping bag cover, or emergency shelter.
  • Secure Fastening: Equipped with heavy-duty, double-sided snap buttons along the edges to secure the poncho around your body or attach it to a second poncho for an expanded tent structure. (Note: True military-issue ponchos rely entirely on these snaps and do not feature zippers.)
  • Integrated Hood: Features an attached, generously sized hood with a durable pull string to cinch tightly around your face, keeping driving rain and wind out.
  • Versatile Pairing: Can be easily tied and snapped into a standard military poncho liner (woobie) for added insulation during cold-weather hikes.

Condition Note: As genuine military surplus, these ponchos may have a distinct storage odor common with authentic coated nylon gear. Airing the poncho out outside or washing it by hand with mild soap and a soft brush will help. Please refer to the product photos for specific hardware and condition details.
