Manufactured in 2024 and kept in cold storage by the military, we just purchased a large lot of these directly from the Defense Reutilization Office (DRO) Source. The shelf life is 25+ years (probably a LOT longer if you keep the can unopened)

Each can contains 47 ¼-cup servings of great tasting Tomato Powder! For ½ cup of Tomato Sauce, just blend ¼ cup of Tomato Powder with ½ of boiling water. For Tomato Paste, cut back on a small amount of water and blend until you reach the desired thickness. Use in Soups, Stews, as a Pizza Sauce, Spaghetti Sauce, Sloppy Joes, or as Tomato Juice!

Tomato Sauce/Paste has always been a problem for long term storage because the acidity in the tomato will actually eat through the lining of the can over time. But dried in powder form, that is not an issue.

Not bad for a defective

Bought one of the defective ones as a fixer upper, and to be honest.. It wasn't that bad! Some material was stuck together Alil bit of Water/vineager mix and cleaning helped the musty smell. Everything else was in tact! Going to be a great tent for the summer solo trips!
