The MOLLE II Assault Pack in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) is the current standard-issue patrol and assault pack for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. As a core component of the MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) system, this pack is designed for short-duration missions, typically 24 to 72 hours. It provides a durable, highly modular, and ergonomic solution for carrying essential combat gear, ammunition, hydration, and sustainment items. Its OCP camouflage (also known as Scorpion W2) is effective across a wide range of environments, making this pack a versatile and indispensable piece of modern field equipment.

Key Features

MOLLE/PALS Webbing: The exterior of the pack is covered in PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) webbing, allowing for the attachment of various MOLLE-compatible pouches and accessories. This makes the pack highly customizable to meet specific mission requirements.

Compartment Layout: The pack features a large main compartment for bigger items and a smaller outer zippered cargo pocket. The outer pocket often contains internal mesh pockets and dividers for organizing smaller items like maps, first aid supplies, and communications gear.

Hydration System Compatibility: An internal sleeve in the main compartment is designed to hold a 3-liter hydration bladder (such as a CamelBak), with covered ports at the top of the pack for routing the drinking tube over either shoulder.

Ergonomic and Adjustable Straps: It includes padded, contoured shoulder straps that are fully adjustable. An adjustable sternum strap and a stowable waist belt help distribute the load for a more comfortable and stable carry. The shoulder straps also feature quick-release buckles for rapidly ditching the pack in an emergency.

Structural Support: A rigid plastic stiffener sheet is housed in the back panel. This provides the pack with structure, protects the wearer's back from being poked by awkwardly shaped contents, and improves overall stability.

Durable Construction: Built from 1000 Denier Cordura® nylon, the pack is exceptionally resistant to tears, scuffs, and abrasion. It features heavy-duty, self-repairing zippers with cord pulls for easy use with gloves, and drainage grommets at the bottom of each compartment to allow water to escape.
